Our Story
I met and fell in love with my 5th generation farmer in 1992 (The same year I fell in love with this farm for the very first time).
We were high school sweethearts and married in 1998. We have accomplished many different things in those years.
One dream of mine was to own a farm wedding venue. It was always in the back of my mind, but we were too busy raising 5 kids and working on other dreams. Little did I know, it was simply God's timing I was waiting on. 24 years later that farm I fell in love with became ours and here we are now.
It's such a blessing to be right here on the farm and watch my husband and son farm while the girls and I live out our dreams. A lot goes into a dream like this and I'm so grateful that we get to do this together as a family.
Our Space
One of the most unique features of our farm is the variety of beautiful spaces available throughout the property. Our historic 1890 barn serves as the perfect setting for cocktail hour, dancing, and an indoor ceremony option. A stunning west-facing cross window fills the space with a warm golden glow at sunset, creating a truly unforgettable atmosphere.
Inside, guests can enjoy a mix of traditional table seating, cozy wood booths, and vintage couches, while the centrally located dance floor is surrounded by breathtaking views. Large doors open to the courtyard on one side and overlook our picturesque outdoor ceremony site on the other. An indoor bar is conveniently located just off the dance floor.
The barn's charming mezzanine level features intimate seating areas and some of the best views of both the dance floor and iconic cross window. A lower level ceremony space, complete with pew seating for up to 150 guests, provides an additional indoor option for your special day.
Our 50' x 90' climate-controlled dinner barn blends modern industrial style with timeless elegance. Two large glass garage doors frame stunning sunrise and sunset views, while overlooking our 60+ acre apple orchard—a favorite backdrop for golden hour photos. Inside, soaring 15-foot walls lead to a beautiful barrel-vaulted ceiling accented by lattice-style trusses, elegant chandeliers, hanging greenery, and warm wood details. The neutral palette of white, black, and natural wood allows any wedding style or color scheme to shine. A custom black display cabinet with marble cake stands provides the perfect showcase for desserts and sweet treats.
Guests are welcomed by a beautifully stamped walkway framed with custom arches and young apple trees that will eventually create a living canopy overhead. The path then leads to our breathtaking outdoor ceremony space, where hydrangea-lined walkways guide guests to grand wooden arch-top doors. Reserved exclusively for the bride's entrance, these doors create a memorable and emotional reveal before she walks down the aisle.
The ceremony aisle is lined with handcrafted wooden benches seating up to 300 guests and leads to a covered altar space surrounded by lush landscaping. Trellises draped with wisteria and butterfly bushes create the feeling of an intimate outdoor garden room. Behind the ceremony site, rows of espalier apple trees and grapevines provide a picturesque backdrop, while a nearby pasture is home to our beloved donkey duo, Jack and Jill, along with goats Willow and Wiley—adding just the right touch of farm charm and whimsy that guests adore.
The next special area is our courtyard. It is centered on the farm surrounded by 3 different barns each giving their own unique style and backdrop . In this courtyard we also have the most charming corn crib we turned into the outdoor bar area. Definitely the favorite choice of not only the bartenders but the guests too. Our courtyard is once again graced with the gorgeous stamped sidewalks leading to each unique location. Follow the pathway to our grain-bin gazebo with it's charming arched features where we have bistro tables set up for you to sit back and enjoy the farm. Our gazebo was also featured in an issue of Farmhouse Style magazine. This is also the perfect location to enjoy yard games. (We will provide 3 sets bags and boards if you wish). You will also find convenient outdoor entrances to our climate controlled and handicap accessible restrooms. (which also have an entrance inside the dinner barn.)
This leads to the other barn that backs up to the courtyard that earned the whimsical nickname of "The Hen Den". The barn is also climate controlled. The brides literally swoon when they walk in the French door where you are greeted by a beautiful rounded cream couch that is center of attention as you walk in. The color scheme is soft creams and warm wood tones graced with different styles of chandeliers and beautiful mirrors scattered about. This barn also features 24 feet of counter workspace for your hair and make up stylists. It also has dedicated area to set out snacks to keep you fueled as you get ready. It also has a small refrigerator/freezer and microwave. We have a charming wall staged with hooks to hang your gown and bridesmaids dresses for the perfect photo opportunity. Two spacious dressing rooms and a private bathroom.
Don't worry we didn't forget about our very important groom! We have a space for you too. It is also climate controlled. We have an extra large tv in there with wi-fi access and very comfortable couches. This is the perfect space to get changed and hide away before your big debut. We have a space to hang your suits and put away the clothes you change out of. We also provide a small refrigerator/freezer and a table to set out food if needed.
Last but not least we have "The Borrow Barn". This is another favorite of mine. We know how expensive weddings can get. So after our children got married we donated decor items to this barn. It has since grown and continues to grow. We have been given so many beautiful donations from past couples that love the pay it forward idea. In fact we have even been given donations from couples that weren't even married here. Neighbors have even contributed. The best part is, there is no charge to use these items.
